Story: I train out of Southside Muay Thai & Submission in Scarborough, I'm a student trying to get a degree in fitness and hope to go to thailand this winter.
General Interests: I enjoy Martial Arts as a practitioner and fan, i started out in karate when i was very young but left after earning only one belt level. As I grew older i remained fairly inactive till my parents enrolled me in ju-jitsu for about 6 monthes in my early teens. From here I fell in love with Martial Arts but unfortunatly my jj school was a city run program and was ended. From here i attempted and experimented with many martial arts from the likes of capoeira, shotokan, BJJ, and eventually found myself at a MMA gym starting training in no gi and muay thai. I hope to continue you my training and compete. I am in school for fitness/ kinesiology and hope to apply it to the martial arts world and own a school of my own one day. I am also a OCAA silver medalist in Rugby.
Who are my heroes: I think that Jens Pulver has a very heart felt story about his childhood and how he came to be a fighter, i truly admire people who can overcome not only the competitive struggle of fighting but people with financial, emotional and other boundries in there way.
